 How to get there:

Vashon Island is a unique treasure. You can get there by ferry from Seattle or Tacoma. On summer weekdays, a water taxi also leaves from the Seattle waterfront pier.

Where to stay:

Part of Vashon’s charm is its small community and small-town feel. A weekend here is rejuvenating. There are no traditional hotels on the Island, so we recommend  Airbnb,  VRBO or The Lodges.
